Founded by Mikey and Zelti February, JUJU Surf Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting existing and emerging African surf programs.
Every piece in this collection was meticulously designed to elevate JUJU Surf Club’s mission of youth empowerment, job creation, and a thriving African surf culture. Featuring a one piece knit upper with an allover tropical palm leaf print, Vans X JUJU Surf Club UltraRange VR3 fuses modern and vintage detailing for a twist on this classic heritage style.
PRODUCT FEATURES:
- Vans x JUJU Surf Club collection
- Upper: One piece knit upper made with 50% organic cotton/36% recycled PET/14% recycled nylon. Upper is designed to reduce waste in production compared to Vans’ traditional cut and sew uppers.
- Upper Leather: Sourced from a tannery rated Gold or Silver for environmental responsibility by the Leather Working Group, a multi-stakeholder auditing group.
- Midsole: EcoCush™ – This new midsole is made using at least 50% biobased EVA foam partially derived from plant-based sources per ASTM D6866-16 testing standard.
- Outsole: EcoWaffle™ – All new rubber compound made with responsibly sourced natural rubber instead of petroleum derived synthetic rubber. This new rubber compound was developed and engineered to maintain the grip and durability Vans has been known for since ’66.
